Product Description

The SSR-09 relay from Tense is a modern device designed for automatic water level control in boilers, tanks, and water heaters.
It provides reliable water supply, timely pump shutdown, and most importantly, effective protection of the electric heater from dry operation.

The device uses capacitive electrodes to monitor the water level and automatically controls the pump and heater depending on the current situation in the tank.

Operating Principle

The SSR-09 works with two electrodes placed in the tank:

1. Lower Electrode (minimum level)

   • If the water level falls below this electrode, the relay activates the pump and starts pumping water.

2. Upper Electrode (maximum level)

   • When the upper level is reached, the relay automatically turns off the pump.

3. Protective Electrode at the Heating Element

   • If there is no water in the heater, the relay will cut off the heater's power supply and prevent overheating.

This intelligent logic ensures safe and economical operation of the entire system.

Installation and Connection

• Mounting on a standard DIN rail inside the cabinet.

• For stable operation, the manufacturer recommends using wires with a minimum size of 2.5 mm².
