TENSE Bistable Electronic Impulse Relay (Start-Stop / Memory Relay), 150-260 V AC
The bistable electronic impulse relay from TENSE (Turkey) allows control of lighting or other devices from any number of locations using parallel-connected buttons. It is ideal for residential installations, commercial buildings, and industrial systems where simple impulse control is required without using conventional staircase or cross switches.
Description and Features
The relay allows turning the device on or off based on a short impulse from a momentary (bell) button. An internal bistable mechanism ensures that the relay changes its state after pressing the button and remains in that state until the next impulse. This provides easy and reliable control from one or more parallel controllers.
A major advantage of this model is increased safety – it is not necessary to supply mains voltage 220/230 V to the button input. Simply short-circuiting the button contacts is sufficient, which does not endanger the user and does not require the use of live wires at the control point.
