The TRM-400 digital overload relay is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents while allowing operation control.

Device usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the attached electrical diagram.
2. After wiring is completed, connect the power supply. After turning on the device, the set values are displayed on the screen for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" controller to set the overload value. The set value is displayed on the left display.
4. Use the "t" controller to set the delay time. The set value is also displayed on the left display..

When the device is on:

• The relay switches on, the output contact switches to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set overload value (A>), the device counts the delay time and at that moment the ERR indicator lights up.
• After the set time expires, the relay switches off the contact, switches to terminal 1, and the OUT indicator goes off.

The electronic current relay from the TRM-400 series is designed for automatic disconnection of consumers when the maximum allowable currents are exceeded. It has a programmable activation range and the ability to set the activation time and the reset time. There are 3 return modes to the "operational" state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTO, AUTO.

Return Modes

• Manual mode: To reset the device after an overload, the Reset button must be pressed. In this mode, the corresponding LED will light up.
• Semi-automatic mode: Allows the device to automatically reset the system three times during overload and then wait for manual reset on the next fault. The corresponding LED will light up.
• Automatic mode: The device allows the system to reset automatically for each overload-related fault. The corresponding LED will light up.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode is changed, the corresponding LED will light up.
