Phase control relay FKV-11 | TENSE

The phase control relay FKV-11 is designed to protect three-phase equipment from key electrical network faults - especially from phase disturbances (phase reversal), phase failure, and phase asymmetry. The relay ensures reliable operation of electric motors, pumps, compressors, and other three-phase equipment.

The model features fixed asymmetry of 30% and is designed for mounting on a single DIN rail.

How the FKV-11 relay works (operating algorithm)

Normal operation

• All three phase voltages are present.

• Phases are connected in the correct order.

• The voltage is within the permissible range.

• Contacts 2-3 are switched, the OUT LED → output is active.

Asymmetry or voltage deviation

• If the voltage of one of the phases changes by more than 30 % or if the sum of changes in multipath values exceeds this limit:

  • the ASM LED lights up (asymmetry indication),

  • the contacts 2-3 are turned off,

  • the contacts 1-2 are turned on,

  • the OUT LED turns off.

Return to normal state

• If the voltage returns to the permissible range,

• the relay will reactivate the output and the contacts will return to 2-3 closed.
