The RGM-12S reactive power control relay is designed to reduce inductive powers that are not used by loads but are drawn from the grid. When inductive reactive power is drawn from the grid, it intervenes by activating capacitors of the corresponding value. In this way, it attempts to bring the value of Cos fi to the desired level.
